COTRAL Agro

CHARACTERISTICS

EC certified, this custom hearing protection* is based on a COTRAL Premium model into which options specific to the food-processing industry have been incorporated. Made of blue hypoallergenic soft silicone, it is manufactured in the COTRAL International based on the impressions taken by the Prevention Technician.

It offers the advantage of double locking which guarantees correct positioning of the protection in the ear and a perfect seal in the concha. Comfortable and easy to insert, this protection has a 5-year guarantee.

Each protection is equipped with an electromagnetic bead, a handle, a cord specific to the food-processing industry and a clip.

The acoustic filter:

8 interchangeable acoustic filters (EC certified by the National Institute for Research and Safety - INRS) are available with this protection. Tubular in shape, they are inserted inside the protections. Carefully selected, they allow you to communicate in a noisy environment by providing selective reduction in the frequencies: a very marked reduction in high-pitched sounds and moderate reduction in the so-called conversational band (500 to 2000 Hz).

The filter of each custom hearing protection has been carefully selected according to:

  • the volume and type of noise,
  • the user’s wearing habits,
  • the protections previously used,
  • the need for communication,
  • hearing losses already observed.

Service life of the protections: 5 years
Guarantee against manufacturing faults: 5 years
