COTRAL BTP

CHARACTERISTICS

In order to ensure that the COTRAL Premium hearing protections are always available, a storage case is clipped to the position provided for the protection cups.
The hearing protection is fixed with a cord.
By opening the case, the hearing protection can be inserted into the ear.

All that is needed for maintenance is to detach the safety cord from the protection and put it back on afterwards.

65% of construction site workers enter retirement with hearing losses and hearing disorders.
Despite the fact that the hearing protections are made available, wearing is inadequate: the custom hearing protections* are forgotten or lost.

With the COTRAL BTP system, the constant availability of the protections increases wearing and thereby considerably reduces the risks of hearing damage.

The acoustic filter:

8 interchangeable acoustic filters (EC certified by the National Institute for Research and Safety - INRS) are available with this protection. Tubular in shape, they are inserted inside the protections. Carefully selected, they allow you to communicate in a noisy environment by providing selective reduction in the frequencies: a very marked reduction in high-pitched sounds and moderate reduction in the so-called conversational band (500 to 2000 Hz).

The filter of each custom hearing protection has been carefully selected according to:

  • the volume and type of noise,
  • the user’s wearing habits,
  • the protections previously used,
  • the need for communication,
  • hearing losses already observed.

Service life of the protections: 5 years
Guarantee against manufacturing faults: 5 years
