During equipment: impression taking and creation of awareness

The Prevention Technicians have received specific training and perfectly master the mechanisms of the ear and the methodology of impression taking. Each Prevention Technician follows a "Quality Procedure":

1. study of the otological history,
2. otoscopy,
3. protection of the eardrum during impression taking...

During impression taking, the role of the Prevention Technician is to:

• select the acoustic filter,
  
  
• explain functioning of the custom hearing protections*,
  
  
• create user awareness concerning wear for 100% of the time spent exposed to noise,
  
  
• perform the otoscopies and take the impressions on site.
  
  

In order to ensure that the protections are worn for 100% of the time spent exposed to noise, we provide the prevention – safety department and the medical department with a guide to implementation of the hearing protections.
