III. Awareness campaigns and training in the risks of noise

Although 95 % of companies with more than 50 employees offer 3 ranges of hearing protections including headphones, hoops, disposable earplugs and customized hearing protections... 82 % of noisy companies find it difficult to impose wear of the hearing protections.

For effective prevention of the risk of noise, the employees must certainly be offered comfortable and efficient hearing protections, but also be encouraged to protect themselves 100% of the time spent exposed to noise.

In addition to the risks of occupational deafness and the consequences of noise for the body, application of decree no. 2006-892 of 19th July 2006 requires training and information of employees exposed to levels exceeding 80 dB(A). (Compulsory training if the level exceeds 85 dB(A)).
